Classes are limited to 8 people and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Full payment in advance is required to enroll. If you find you must cancel your registration, please give us three days notice and your payment will be returned. With less than three days notice, we will give you a 50% shop credit. Knitting To Know Ewe reserves the right to cancel a class for insufficient registration (full payment will be refunded). Students will receive a 10% discount for all materials purchased for class. Ask about materials and homework when you register and please purchase prior to the start of class.
In an attempt to make classes easier for you as we approach the holidays, we have assigned Sundays as our official class day for the balance of the year. There is a one time class charge for whatever class you choose. The rest of the technical support is free as as a service from the staff of Knitting To Know Ewe. You can come in for as much help as you need and as often as you need and we will be happy to assist you.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! What a great holiday season it has been! We hope it was for you as well. So, you made the holiday feast, cleaned for the guests, shopped feverishly for the gifts, (maybe knitted feverishly too), then wrapped all the gifts, decorated inside and out, got the right outfits for the holiday parties, got all glittery for New Year's (you looked spectacular didn't you?), and now are staring at all the stuff that has to come down, what has to be repaired (like the table your great-uncle knocked over while attempting the chicken dance. Again? Really?), and you are beat but feel the relief and pride in a job well done. Well, that's great. But now it is "All About Me Time."
So let's talk about making something stunning and wonderful for you. Our newest discovery is the Moonlight yarn from Jade Sapphire. If you don't know about it yet, it is 50% mink and 50% cashmere (how can that be bad?). It is in a word; awesome. How about a scarf for you? We have two patterns that only require 1-2 skeins of this heavenly yarn. You simply can't go wrong.
We are constantly getting in more wonderful new yarn for any project you may wish to make for yourself. From Madeline Tosh, Habu, Lorna's Laces, Blue Sky, Claudia.....oh boy! We will figure out something great to make.
And, as if this wasn't enough, we have good news and bad news. The good news is that we are about to buy even more wonderful things for you to peruse. The bad news is that it means we have to close the store to go purchase it all at the TNNA Convention. So that means the store will be closed starting Friday, January 20, and will reopen on Thursday, February 2. It will be worth it. Trust me.
Just a heads up. Next month will have a few really fun things to mark on your calendars as soon as you get our email with the info. First will be a Tunisian Crochet Night. This will be another class/get together that will revolve around food. It should be great fun. Next, will be a Makeover Night (this will probably require alcohol), where a Chanel representative will be at our store to help you do your make-up in a new way. There will be no Chanel purchases. You will bring your own make-up and learn a new way to apply it. We will let you know as soon as we have a date. Lastly, (but not least), we will be having a store event! This is all about dinner at Villa Nuova (next door to our store), with many more details to follow. We will keep you posted on all the future fun. Make sure to check our Facebook page in case, for some reason you miss our emails. Everything current about the store is there, including snow closings (Yep. They're coming).
We wish you great happiness in the coming new year, and hope we will be responsible for some of it.
